Fun Science Saturday is another way RE-Retreat is creating opportunities to build memories with fun family activities. I am a homeschool dad that loves science and hands on experiences, and values the experiential side of learning. Fun Science Saturdays are a way for kids to experience science interactively and for parents to participate in the experience with their children. Each session is focused on doing science not just hearing and reading about it.

Each session will have a meet and greet time while people arrive, an introduction of the topic, and overview of the scientific principles. The majority of the time will be experiencing science through the various planned activities. Each class session will be limited to ten (10) families. The goal is to study topics that can be understood at different levels, so a 1st grader and a high school student can experience learning and fun. If a topic suitable for a specific grade it will be identified in the session details.
